WHERE IT BEGAN
Recovery Friendly Workplaces was developed by Recovery Coach Academy (RCA), the brainchild of CEO Naetha Uren who ignites transformative change in the dynamic landscape of recovery.
The organisation is committed to providing the highest quality training, consulting services, and support to individuals, organisations, and businesses to utilise and implement the tools and strategies for sustained recovery.
We are dedicated to global leadership in quality Recovery Coach Training. Since 2020, we proudly stand as the only authorised CCAR© facilitators in the UK, the global leader in Recovery Coach Training since 2008 with 90,000+ coaches trained worldwide and recognised in the 2022 White House Drug Strategy.
RCA was founded after relocating to the UK from the US in 2018, and the facing the stark challenges firsthand of a scarcity of recovery support for individuals, families, and communities. The void in support became more evident, prompting us to take action and bridge the gap in recovery support for others no matter where they are on their recovery journey.
Our unique perspectives from personal experience, blend of compassion and professionalism, and the Heart and the Art of recovery coaching, fuels our dedication to creating transformative change and empowering individuals and organisations with the resources and support necessary to create a recovery positive communities and societies.

CEO Naetha Uren brings a wealth of knowledge to the realm of recovery coaching and has a unique journey which includes leadership roles in multi-million-pound businesses and over a decade as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counsellor.
Naetha's fusion of corporate expertise and her personal journey, advocacy for community, and global recognition in the field make her a sought-after speaker, trainer, and consultant.
Her personal experiences as a mother navigating her daughter's substance use disorder and serving as the linchpin of a multi-generational household, deeply shape her coaching approach.
